Angie Harmon was an American actress, model and singer who appeared in a variety of shows and films in the last few decades. Initially she worked as an established model, and later after gaining international fame she made her foray into acting. In 1995, she began acting in the television series "Baywatch Nights". Also, she does voice-acting as well as voice-overs. Harmon was able to decide in the early 2000s to focus on film work and not work on TV series. After a brief hiatus, she returned to TV being in films for a couple of episodes. She was one of a handful of actresses who posed discreetly naked in "Allure Magazine". Her major work has been in the role of the detective Jane Rizzoli on TNT series 'Rizzoli & Isles'. As a detective, Harmon was widely honored and praised. Angie Harmon was nominated over these past years for her excellent performances, but has not won any awards.
